A very successful golf competition was held at Fintona Golf Club on Monday 12th June. The event was organised by Jimmy McCloghan and six teams in all took part.
After nine holes it was the team lead by Ryan Daly ( Tyrone GAA Coach ) which emerged the winners with Mr McCarron’s team second and Shane Knox’s team third.
The winning Team were Ryan Daly, Phelim Gallagher, Darragh Monaghan, Ross Hunter and Padraig Quinn. The prize for the nearest to the pin on the ninth went to Keelan Healy. There is a rumour that the golf club needs a few new slates. When asked about this Mr McCarron said he had no further comment to make as the matter was currently in the hands of his Solicitor.
