Mental Health Awareness Week 12th – 18th May

During Mental Health Awareness Week, KS3 students have been busy preparing the raised beds in the polytunnel for planting and filling the window boxes with nectar-rich flowers for butterflies, bees and other friendly pollinators. It is increasingly acknowledged that gardens and green spaces are associated with better physical, social and mental health. The act of gardening helps us to keep fit and connect with others, to enjoy and be part of nature and to revel in colour, aroma, wildlife and beauty.
